Associate Manager - Livelihood Generation

Associate Manager- Livelihood

Reports to

Regional Manager- Programs

Location

Bengaluru/Chennai (or any other easily accessible city in Karnataka/Tamil Nadu)

 

Duties and Key Responsibilities

Livelihood Generation:

 

  1. Work towards effective PFC foundation’s livelihood program delivery management.

  2. Work closely with the foundation team to implement and manage the livelihood program.

  3. Support and groom a team of social workers to measure successes in livelihood program implementation by assigning KPI and setting up robust M & E tools.

  4. Design, implement, and manage the tools to measure the developmental journey of beneficiaries, short & long-term outcomes.

  5. Achieve livelihood program targets and goals as per the project timeline.

  6. Networking and Coordinating with local authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure livelihood programs are implemented successfully.

  7. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the community, PFC team, supply partners, and all other stakeholders.

  8. Undertake scheduled site/field visits.

  9. Monitor, develop, and sustain livelihood beneficiaries through various innovative interventions.

  10. Support the preparation of the livelihood program proposal, framework, budget, etc.

  11. Work closely with regional manager programs to ensure successful livelihood program delivery.


Reporting and Documentation:

  1. Log KPI data into PFC applications to monitor performance.

  2. Ensure all documentation, reports, information, and accurate data flow through the PFC technology platform.

  3. Managing, monitoring, and reviewing the foundation policies & SoPs periodically with required documentation.

  4. Ensuring timely, concise, and accurate reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis on prescribed formats and applications.

  5. Submit timely financial income & expenditure reports.

 

General responsibilities:

  1. Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritization of workload skills.

  2. Ensure that the PFC policies, SOPs, and protocols are being adhered to at all levels of the organization.

  3. Ownership and coordination of collaborative team contact with stakeholders.

  4. Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security.

  5. Willingness to travel frequently across India, sometimes at short notice, including other places as per need of project or organization.

  6. Work closely with the PFC team and partners.

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in livelihood/income generation program management in the social sector.

  • Experience in the field of social business development will be preferred.

  • Experience in managing the informal sector & workforce.

  • Good understanding of social and environmental concepts and methods.

  • Fluency in English, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
