Bangalore / Mangalore / Dharwad

Duties and Key Responsibilities-

Program Management:

  1. Work towards effective PFC India foundation(non-profit) program delivery management.

  2. Manage and groom a team of social workers/co-ordinators, assigning  KPI’s and monitoring them. 

  3. Implement, manage, improve, build capacity and monitor fair trade/ethical sourcing practices, labour laws, ESG policies and HR compliance standards at the supply partners and scrap shops. 

  4. Coordinate with local authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure benefits are implemented.

  5. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with supply partners, and scarp shops.

  6. Undertake scheduled site visits.

  7. Monitor, develop and sustain supply partners and scrap shops through PFC rating and incentive systems.

  8. Manage the developmental journey of the supply partners and scarp shops.

  9. Support in the preparation of the program logical framework, timeline, M & E framework and budget.

Reporting and Documentation: 

  1. Log KPI data into our application to monitor performance.

  2. Ensuring timely, concise and accurate reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis on prescribed formats and applications.

General responsibilities:


  1. Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritisation of workload skills.

  2. Ensure that the PFC policies, SOPs and protocols are being adhered to at all levels of the company.

  3. Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security.

  4. Willingness to travel frequently across India, sometimes at short notice, including other places as per need of project or company.

  5. Work closely with the PFC team and Partners.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications-

  • 7 + years experience in program management in the social sector.

  • MSW/MA in Development

  • Managing the informal sector workforce.

  • Background in fair trade/ethical sourcing principles.

  • Good understanding of social and environmental concepts and methods. 

  • Experience of being part of any program/project management or field work would be an added advantage. 

  • Engagement, plastics recycling, waste management will be helpful.

  • Fluency in English, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi languages.

Skills-

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work.

  • Open to new challenges.

  • Good data management, documentation and reporting skills.

  • Good computer skills – MS Office and Working on CRM tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.

  • Eye for detail. 

  • Able to learn new systems, methods, processes and procedures.

  • Able to meet deadlines and produce quality outputs.

  • Proactive and self-motivated.

  • Humility, honesty, transparency, integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
