Director- Social Additionality (Programs)
Plastics For Change Foundation has the core objective to provide dignified sustainable economic opportunities for the urban poor and improve their quality of life through social interventions.
We are looking for passionate and highly skilled individuals who can help us make a difference in the lives of people in India and other developing countries who make a living collecting, sorting, recycling, and selling materials that someone else has discarded. We are looking for people who share our values and are driven to create a positive change in the community

Location: Bangalore / Mangalore / Dharwad / Chennai
Position Summary:
The Director of Social Additionality is responsible for the overall design, implementation, and management of the organization's developmental programs and services with the communities of Scrap shop workers and waste plastic pickers it works with. This includes developing program goals and objectives, creating program budgets, and ensuring that programs are aligned with the organization's mission and values. The Director of Programs will also be responsible for supervising program staff and volunteers, building relationships with community partners, and evaluating program effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
· Design, plan and implement developmental program strategies that align with the organization's mission and values, focussed on livelihood improvement in these communities.
· Create program goals and objectives in the area of health, nutrition, education, and poverty alleviation for these communities.
· Supervise program staff and volunteers
· Build and maintain relationships with scrap shop owners, dealers, middlemen, agents, community partners, and any other stakeholders.
· Evaluate program impact & effectiveness, make recommendations & implement improvements.
· Represent the organization at community events and meetings.
· Collaborate with the CEO and other staff members to develop and implement PFC’s strategies to develop the communities that it works with.
Qualifications:
· Masters/Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Non-profit Management, Sociology, or public administration
· 10+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit setting.
· Strong Team leadership and management skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Passion for the organization's mission and values
